AI Powered Cardiac Sensor Launched By Indian Inventor
A heart sensor for heart variability and stress analysis that uses Artificial Intelligence, was launched by Indian inventor, Teja Reddy Gatla, according to The Times of India. The device, designed like a strap, can be worn on any part of the body for optimal sensor detection, he added.
The device was showcased at an event by Gatla recently. “The device’s sensors gather physiological data for AI-driven analysis, offering precise insights into stress analysis and emotional responses,” he said. Explaining the workings of the device, Gatla said, its electro-dermal activity sensors detect subtle changes in skin conductance, reflecting stress levels. Furthermore, SpO2 sensors detect oxygen levels in a patient, a feature that helps gauge respiratory functions.
Emphasizing that AI is playing an important role in the development of intelligent sensors that could be used on wearables for patient, in the coming days. The core functionality of his device, he said, lies on intelligent sensors that gather data for subsequent analysis. AI plays the backbone of this technology, enabling us to gather physiological data for precise and insightful interpretation,” he added.
However, he didn’t mention when the device would be available in the market for users. The device might require a few updates at a later stage.
